The unique nature of my job is not lost on me. As I was editing Randi & Kraig’s images last night, I was humbled by this thought. I have the invitation from my couples to experience their love stories first hand—a privilege to say the least. Yes—being in front of a camera & allowing that bond you share with your significant other to be photographed can be uncomfortable at times, but what I learned from my time spent with Randi & Kraig in specific is that my couples trust me regardless of their own insecurities or hesitations. So, I say it again: it is my joy to do what I do for my couples—an honor I do not take lightly. I may take lovely pictures for my couples, but what my couples are teaching me in return often leaves me speechless. Maybe it is my soul anticipating Thanksgiving being right around the corner, but to all my Lauren Anderson couples: I am so very grateful for you!
