As soon as Maddison reached the end of the aisle where her groom, Trevor, was waiting for her, I watched as the two locked eyes & mouthed “I love you” to one another, their eyes each gleaming with joy. I always find it incredible to observe moments like this with my couples, but with all the chaos in the world right now, that simple exchange was like a tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day—my heart so needed it! I would be willing to bet Maddison & Trevor’s closest family & friends who were in attendance on Saturday would agree too. Yes—this wedding was stunning & lovely & “all the things”, but the best part was being engulfed in the celebration of something greater than myself & that is love. Maddison is the third (& last) of her siblings to get married & I feel humbled, blessed & honored to have photographed each of the Zimmer weddings. To the Zimmer family: thank you for trusting me to play such an intimate role in these celebrations. Your family will forever hold a special place in my heart!
