This morning I was reminded of a simple truth: I don’t have to do what I do, get to do this. I get to share in & serve my couples on one of the happiest days of their lives, I get to use my gifts & abilities to create lifelong memories, & I get the opportunity to share my favorite moments with you. The funny thing is, Allison & Dan’s wedding day was so full (in the very best way) that many memories will only be kept tucked away in my couple’s minds. Dan will remember scrambling to catch the aisle runner that came unpinned right before his bride walked down the aisle while Allison will likely never forget the pitstop she wanted to make for hot dogs & ice cream as the bridal party made their way to the reception. Not going to lie, I’m a little bummed I missed out on some wedding day ice cream, but it was an honor to capture the rest of the sweet moments from this day.
