I know I’ve said this before, but one of my favorite things about photographing weddings is that no two are the same. In fact, I saw something I’ve never seen before at Ashley & Ryan’s Mackinaw Valley Vineyard wedding. During their gift exchange, Ryan couldn’t stand hearing his bride’s voice, but not being able to embrace her. So, with eyes sealed shut, the two of them promised not to peek & hugged each other before retreating back to their own spaces until the ceremony. Not going to lie — it was the sweetest thing!
We may have had the craziest wind working against us all day, but with a little creativity & flexibility, I hope this day will be a day Ashley, Ryan & their sweet little boy will cherish forever.
