One of my favorite things to talk to my couples about is their proposal story. I love how he shares the amount of thought & preparation that led up to getting down on one knee while she shares her shock & excitement with that little sparkle in her eye. For some reason, I forgot to ask Corrie & Scott their proposal story when we first met, so I was able to listen to it during their engagement session. Now, when a couple’s response to, “How did he propose?” is laughter, you know the story is probably a little…different. Well, let’s just say Scott really wanted to capitalize on the element of surprise because he proposed to Corrie while sitting in the car in the Walmart parking lot! I just love that. Sometimes simple, unplanned moments can make for the best memories.
