The longer I’ve been in business, the more I have come to value all the friendships I’ve made with other creatives along the way. Apart from scheduled photo sessions & client meetings, my job can get pretty lonely (why do you think I’m such a crazy cat lady?). Thankfully, over time I have grown a sweet circle of friends/”coworkers” who not only care for me, but also crave to dream, vent & offer encouragement over a simple cup of coffee. I truly do not know where my business (or my sanity) would be without these people. Over four years ago, I met my first friend of this kind—Becky. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for this woman’s friendship & partnership. She has helped me rebrand my business (twice) & she perfectly designed all of Ryan & I’s wedding pieces. Becky is so, so talented & has served me well over the years, so while it was a little intimidating, I was honored to photograph her & her three sweet kiddos the other night. I am thankful for the opportunity to give back to someone who has blessed me & my business so much.
