I absolutely adore photographing engagement sessions, but what I love even more is when I get to capture the love story of a couple I know. Eryn and Sean are college sweethearts who fell in love at my alma mater—Illinois Wesleyan University. He was on the football team and she represented our university on the volleyball court. Talk about a power couple, right?
Ryan and I met up with these two in early December at Sean’s family farm in Tiskilwa, Illinois. Sean’s family raises hunting dogs and their property possesses endless trails and hills—enough to overwhelm me! Thankfully, we stuck to Eryn and Sean’s favorite spots, jumping into Sean’s truck to warm up and move on to the next.
While we won’t be able to capture their I do’s in September, it is always so sweet to reconnect with friends from the past!
